Another  scenic snorkling trip. Lots of fish and colorful coral. Back in time for paddle boardingSpent morning swimming and off to lunch. Nap time and preparation for Sunset Cruise. Rode large catamaran party boat to end of Jamacia (Near Rick's Bar) where we swam into large cave where there once was a bar, wiped out by a hurricane. Lots of laughs, music and dancing. Came back as we saw a nice sunset. Went to after dinner show  performed by local talent: acrobats, jugglers, and cyclists. Wayne and Miriam entered dance competition where Wayne won a tee shirt and declared the King.

After tennis clinic and breakfast we took shuttle to Couples Swept Away. The facility is much larger than Negril with more sports equipment and courts for tennis, racket ball. Spent the day sailing and lunching. On ride back our van was stopped along with others, apparently police dhecking drivers for proper paper work. Back to Negril for games while waiting out a heavy downpour. Time for a swim before dinner at the Otaheite restaurant with new friends Steve, Bethany, Jim and Diane. Finished evening attending Casino night  and Auction.

Today's activities were scuba dive for Wayne, tennis drills for Miriam and Jim. Afterwards it was lunch at the grill followed by sailing, table tennis, billiards, and swimming. Finished off with flotation mat resting in the ocean then pool bar. A little light rain. Scuba trip was great with varied colors and shapes of coral. Dinner at the Asian Fussion restaurant.

Started day with breakfast in our room then tennis clinic with pro from Pennsylvania. Took snorkle trip to reef after with a fifteen minute boat ride. Guide fed fish which enables us to see lots of varieties and relics from sunken ships. Back for swimming in pool and refreshents. Arrangements set for night snorkel and Wayne's next day scuba trip for tomorrow. Lunch at Cassava Terrace Restaurant. Back to room for rest. Entered table tennis tournament. Back to room in time for big thunder storm. Big booms and rain.

Todays activities consisted of swimming in 80+ degree clear water on beautiful white sands, sailing Hobbie Cats, bocci ball, more swimming and dinner at the Otaheite, Caribbean fusion restaurant. Specialty was Lion Fish and Scallops. Entertainment afterwards wa lively band with singer who could sing  many different variety hits from 50's, 60's etc.

Couples Negril May 9, 2015

After a long flight involving thunder storms in Dallas and a ninety minute shuttle ride through the poor areas of Jamaica we arrived in the very beautiful Couples facility.  Dinned at the buffet restaurant with variety of meats, fish, Cajun, Japanese selections. Walked the facility listing to their musical sounds of the island crickets. Retired in our very nicely appointed room.
